WHAT IS AFFABLE
The original intention was a mix of storytelling genres. Think of Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Little Red Riding Hood written by pulp
fiction author Elmore Leonard. If it was a film imagine a blend of detective and horror genres directed by David Cronenberg. The concept was a mutt
that evolved prior to and during the writing of Vein Storm my first novel. I thought Affable Scavengers would be a one-off. One story. One novel.
Then, next ... over and done with.
However, as I approached the end of the tale several story threads had not reached a clean-cut conclusion. Therefore, it necessitated a sequel to
wrap up the loose ends. Such gave birth to Violet Shoal. Many readers, whose
endorsements and comments I am indebted to, then enquired on the possibility of a volume three.
After completing a novel which is not related to this series (which
is light, humorous and pleasant in tone to be released in the near future) I had
finally the narrative imagined for Vicky Veston's return. It then became clear that
these books are about her life. I was curious myself on how her life would evolve after Affable Scavengers and Violet Shoal.
An upcoming volume three presents new, important and positive developments in her life but, there is a steep price for her anatomy. A cabal of rich villains still strive to
get a piece of her ...
